I'll elaborate on the last post: I want to get a tattoo and I have the image and the artist chosen, but I still need to talk to the artist. I'm way to nervous to go in by myself. The shop always seems to be empty and I hate going into empty stores. And I'm 98% convinced I'm going to make an idiot of myself. I don't know how you're supposed to say to an artist. "I want a tattoo"? Well duh, that's why I'm in a tattoo shop. I also want a specific artist in the shop I feel like I'll be rude asking for her. Like, "Oh, I didn't want the tattoo from you I wanted it from someone else." So unless she happens to be the first person I don't know what to do there.

Timing details: It's a shop in Media, right near my work. The artist I want is there Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sundays. Unfortunately I have work on all those days but it might work out since I only want to go in for a consultation now and it probably won't take too long. I have work in the afternoon/evening so I'd have to go in the morning or early afternoon. I have school Wednesday mornings, but Tuesdays and Sundays are open. Spring break is the 17th-21st. So, whenever.


Now that the tattoo bitching is done for now, I've started a new journal for posting stuff I write, circleswithin. I have one story posted so far. Read and leave feedback! If you think it sucks, tell me! I have a bunch of stories in the work that will eventually be posted. Any suggestions on good LJ writing communities are welcome.

i don't think it's rude to ask for a specific artist. they all specialize in different things, so they'll understand that if you ask you're just making sure you're getting exactly what you want.

Yea I agree with Catie. Its probably just like asking for a specific stylist when you go to a hair salon
