tortoisegirlMy dad and Lisa and I went to Chinatown for Chinese New Year celebrations on Sunday. There are pictures and video (w00t high tech) but they're all on my dad's computer so I'll go into more detail about that later.
I decided to celebrate Mardi Gras by skipping school. Later I found out that the water main on campus had broken and the website said that the school was closed, so I thought I was scott free with the skipping school consquences. But in school on Thursday I found out that the school closed after all my classes, so I was still marked absent and my work was still considered late. No luck for me.
I'll have to meet up with a bunch of councilors soon about furture semesters and tranferring and for some reason it's really making me nervous. Maybe because I have no idea what I want to do. I still can't decide on a major or a possible career. They probably hear that all the time from students but I still think I'm going to make a fool of myself.
DId anyone else notice that today the sky and the ground were the same color? The whole world was grey. I saw some places that actually looked like black and white photographs.
