A lot happening.

On Saturday my mom was working at the UDHS music gala when she started feeling sick. She eventually called my granddad who took her to the hospital. They did a bunch of tests and a CAT scan and my aunt called to tell me and my sisters all of this. When my dad got home we told him and he went to the hospital and ended up staying overnight. They found out that my mom's spleen ruptured and was bleeding, plus she had really low blood pressure and low hemoglobins. So now she's still at the the hospital taking medicine and getting blood transfusions and the doctor said she could be there anywhere from a few days to two weeks.

We visited her on Sunday. My dad said she looked a lot better than she did on Saturday, but she can't move or eat much because of her spleen. She could only have water for a few days but now she's up to tea and jello. She won't be able to work the rest of the school year but she has enough paid vacation days to last out the rest of the year. We had to cancel the French kid coming over. Julia was upset about that and I feel bad for Frenchie. Now my dad is staying at my mom's with the sisters and I'm at the apartement. It's cool having the apartment to myself, but Internet doesn't work (of course it stops working as soon as I have it all to myself). I'm at my mom's house now waiting for Lisa to get home so I can drive her to color guard practice.

So send good thoughts my mom's way. Hopefully the Internet at my dad's get fixed soon so I can update. But for now I have to go back to doing English papers.
