Woooooo Halloween! Even though I'm not going to any parties or going trick or treating, Halloween is cool.

Saturday a bunch of relatives came over to help us start moving. Everything in my room except my goldfish was moved out. We also moved some beds and boxes. But my room the new house is all set up except for the fishtank and some boxes that need to be unpacked.

The new house is part of a block of row homes. The front yard is fenced in and has a little tree. But driving and parking on the street sucks. It's a narrow street and with cars parked on both sides and only car at a time can fit down the street but it's not one way. I predict lots of parallel parking (AHHH!). It's also a dead end street but there's a circle at the end so cars can turn around. We have an alley behind the house that where one car can be parked. And there's a garage that can fit a small car. At the end of the street there's a creek and a bridge that leads to a playground and a baseball diamond and a field. There's a ton of little kids on our street.

When you go inside the house you're in the living room. The steps are to the left and the dining room is straight ahead. The kitchen is to the left of the dining room. It looks just like one of my old friend's house so I guess most rowhomes have the same layout. The door to the basement is in the kitchen. Julia's room is will be down there. There's a big space and it connects to the garage and there's the laundry area. There's also a door that leads out to the alley. We realized that Julia could sneak people into her room through the back door and no one would know. Oh, and the door to the basement has a cat door built in at the bottom. My room upstairs is tiny. I got the small room because I'm only there every two weeks. I had to get a small bed because the big one wouldn't fit, but it's ok. Everything else seems to fit.

Julia and I tested out the new Wawa when we got drinks and snacks for the people helping us move. There's a Jewish cemetary a block over from our street. It's not very pretty for walking, but we can tell Lisa that Jewish zombies will come after her. We passed this on the way to the Wawa. It's a normal Wawa, but I hate getting used to a new Wawa layout. There's an Eckerd that's closer so I might go there sometimes instead. There's also a texidermy store. Right next to the animal hospital.

More relatives are coming next weekend to help us move in completely and to help get the old house ready to be sold. Ugh, relatives.

After the moving stuff on yesterday I carved a pumpkin while watching The Nightmare Before Christmas. I tried to roast the seeds but I wasn't sure what spices to put on them so I sprinkled on random stuff. I ended up with cinnamon and chili powder flavored pumpkin seeds. Weird.
