Woooo, all these stores are getting Halloween merchandise and putting up decorations. I love Halloween. Okay, maybe it's a bit early to start the Halloween celebrations, but that's the next fun thing to look forward to so that's what I'm doing.

School starts on Monday and I'm not too excited. I don't mind school, but I don't like the first few days of wandering around to find the classrooms and spending way too much money on books. I meant to buy by books online a few weeks ago but I am the laziest person ever. I'm going supply and clothes shopping tomorrow. I'm taking Algebra & Trig, Astronomy, Theater (history of theater, not acting), and Western Myths(no idea what this is). I have to talk to a councilor about AP credits that were supposed to transfer but didn't. And financial aid office, how I hate thee. They're taking forever to process some papers and I'm not getting my money but I refuse to pay because the aid is supposed to cover a large chunk of tuition. I have no idea what going to happen Monday if the aid hasn't gone through and I still haven't paid anything. The worst would be that they dropped me from all my classes, I don't even want to think about what I'd do then.

Micheal Vick was suspended from the NFL, which pretty much made my day.

Kids Say Amusing Thing: L.B. Toys Edition
A girl around 6 years old and her mom are looking around the store. The mom told the girl she could get something small and they're going through the process of determining what defines "small".
Girl: (holding a doll) Can I have this this?
Mom: (looks at price tag) No, that's more like a Christmas or birthday toy. That's too big for now.
Girl: (huffily) It's not a big as your head.

Now I'm freaking out because I think they really might have dropped me from my registered classes for not paying any tuition yet. I sent the financial aid paper two weeks ago so they should have received them by now, but maybe the haven't processed them yet. But I'm thinking of everything that could have gone wrong with those papers. If something was wrong with the stamps on the envelope the post office would have sent it back by now, right? It's just so disconcerting that this much time has passed and my aid status hasn't changed.

God, if they did drop me from my classes I'll have to take anything I can still sign up for just for the credits and I'll definitely be stuck there another semester. I'll I be embarrassed when the teacher call roll and I won't be on the lists.

But the classes are all still listed on my account online. They would have to tell me if they were going to drop me, right? They're fast enough with sending the tuition bills so they should be considerate enough to send a letter if they're going to kick me out.

I bet I'm getting worked up over nothing. I really hope that's the case.
