(no subject)

OMG there's so much drama about this French kid coming (whose name is Florent). After the thing with my mom happened we thought the whole thing would be cancelled, which really upset Julia. She was supposed to tell her french teacher we couldn't host but she didn't. Instead she wrote up a schedual of stuff that she and Florant could using public trasportation that wouldn't involve my mom doing anything. She showed it to my mom, but my mom never said a definitive yes or no, so Julia assumed that meant yes. Julia convinced my dad and the teacher that the hosting was still on. Word got to my mom about this who said no, this can't happen, and my dad called the french teacher. The french kids are leaving for America on Saturday so it's kind of too late to change anything. The teacher said she would try to find other arrangements for Florent, but it looks like we're still going to be having him over.

But wait, there's more!

My mom gets back from the hospital on Friday and the plan was that I would live with her and sisters because she shouldn't really be doing too much activity like laundry and cooking and driving. But that was assuming that Florent wouldn't be there, and if he is here there isn't enough room for all of us. So what might happen is Florent and Julia would stay with my dad.

So it's madness here, people are mad at Julia for being so stubborn about this french thing, and we still don't know exactly what's going on.
