That's the way the money goes.
Sep. 29th, 2005 03:25 pmI had a fun dream last night with all of us in it. I don't really remember the first part but it involved mew walking on a road between some grassy hills. Well after I was I was done with the grassy hills I was going to meet you guys for lunch at a restaurant. The whole dream was in this town that I didn't recognize, but everyone was required to wear clothes from the colonial era. I was wearing a long, pale blue dress with long sleeves that were poofy at the shoulders. I had an apron around my waist and a big straw hat with ribbons and fake flowers(the hat doesn't sound colonial but, whatever.)
I go to the restaurant and everyone's there(Catie, Maureen, Melanie, Livia, Ji, and Jin) sitting at a round table. It was a fancy restaurant and our table was in its own private room. Ji and Jin had already eaten and Jin left, but Ji stayed. I sat down and picked up the menu. There were many options and in the salad section it only had a ranch salad listed four times. I leaned over to Catie next to me and said it was weird to list the same salad four times and I wondered if they could just make me a regular salad. Well we all got or food and ate. When we were done we were stacking our own plates for the waiter to take, then we got up to go. I was the last one to leave and I saw that one of the waitresses clearing our table was picking up a dish full of jelly. She bumped into the wall and the jelly started falling onto the floor. Some other waiters ran over to help her and I felt bad for the girl because she might get in trouble for staining the carpet.
I left that room and found you guys in another room of the restaurant that had three tables in it. I looked at the menu and realized that what we had just eaten was the appetizer and we moved to this room for the main course. Someone noticed that Catie wasn't there. We found her in another room talking to some people. We brought her over to our room but she wasn't dressed in colonial clothes. Maureen and I went with her to another part of the restaurant where they had clothes. Most of the skirts there you wore by tying a large piece of fabric around your waist and and apron over top of it. You could use two pieces of fabric to create a two-colored skirt, which is what Mo and Catie did. And they had plenty of straw hats to choose from. When we got back to the table, Ji was saying "Guys, lets sit in this room where we have a view of the lake". We followed her into the big public dining room where there was a big table in the corner near a window. We could see the lake from the window in the other room, but here the lake looked much bigger. All you could see was this huge stretch of water. I wondered if we could see the shore of the lake too. But I saw something weird. The restaurant was partially submerged in the water and the lake came right up to the bottom of the window. But there was something holding back the lake so water didn't get into the parking lot in front of the restaurant.
There was more to this dream with a roller coaster that gave tours of a library, but you guys weren't in that part and this entry in long enough.
