A Tale of Two Sisters
Sep. 25th, 2005 04:51 pmFriday I visited Melanie at Temple. It was fun but really hot. I met Liz and the roommates and got some pamphlets about Jesus. Mel's dorm room is cool and her roommates seem nice. On the way home the trolley stopped by a bunch of school and all these kids got on and it was really crowded. And when I went to Wawa the cashier called me Princess for the second time. And Friday night I watched a Korean horror film but I had a headache and reading subtitles didn't help that.
Saturday my dad and I went into the city and biked down Kelly Drive. It was only 5 miles but when we rested after 4 miles I was dizzy and lightheaded. My dad said it was probably because I hadn't eaten much for breakfast, but I think it was mostly because I hadn't ridden a bike for a few years and am out of shape.Anyway, we made it to the art museum area where there was a Campus Philly street fair Not much going on there, some local bands playing and businesses giving out free lollipops. Then we took pictures by sculptures and fountains, get some lunch, rode our bikes to Chinatown, walked around and ended up in Reading Terminal Market. The ride back wasn't that bad. I didn't get dizzy but I had to stop once. And we had tasty tasty samosas and bacouras for dinner. Yum.
Today the Eagles won. w00t. The bar across the street was annoying noisy last night and this morning.
36 days until Halloween.
60 days until Thanksgiving.
91 days until Christmas.
156 days until Mardi Gras.
