lol don't listen to people...living on campus isn't bad at all. I've been doing it for almost 3 years now and nothings happened and there were few times that I've really felt "unsafe" (which were usually when I was walking alone at night haha). Its really not dangerous at all. The only downside is that you'd probably need a roommate for most apartment complexes around here. Except for the Edge...you can get a single for 600 a month. You could also try and look for places in center city (thats where I'll be living next year) or try Craigslist or something. If you do an on-campus/close to campus place I'd start looking now cause they're probably taking leases and stuff...but most center city places don't take leases till like 2 months before you plan on moving in. haha.
