Everyone is sick today.

School is back in but my Sociology teacher called to say that class was canceled and I have to pick up a take home test in an office. I skipped my last English class but I'll have to go in later to get the test. The website says there'll be cops and we can't bring any bags, not even purses. But I'll deal with that later. I still have to go in next week to turn in some final projects. I haven't been to piano class in 3 weeks.
Rant about a really stupid thing:
My bedroom faces the back ally and I can see the backs of houses across the ally. One house has this insanely bright light outside their back door that keep me up. It's seriously bright beyond all necessity. I can't look at it without squinting and if I looked at it directly I'd probably go blind. I could land a small aircraft using this light as a guide. I could signal Russian cosmonauts in space with it. If I put a cutout of the batman symbol on it I could get Bruce Wayne over here. It's that bright. And it's on all. freaking. night. Between that and the full moon last night it was bright enough to read without using any lights in my room. And bright enough to keep me awake. I can't stand it.
Random childhood memory:
When I was 6 we had a goldfish named Freddy. He died, as living creatures tend to do, and we buried him in the backyard. At the funeral I gathered some plants, which were probably dandelion leaves and things of that sort, to put over his grave. When spring came around a tulip grew in the spot where we buried him and I was convinced that the plants I put there combined with Freddy's body made that flower grow.
