Stupid colors schemeing
Jul. 25th, 2009 04:15 pmOkay, blogging for the sake of it.
General news of my life:
Japan isn't happening, for those who don't know. Money sucks and the government sucks for not giving me money so I can't go this year. It would have to be next year if at all, but that seems unlikely. It disappointing, but I'd been preparing myself for the possibility of not going for a while, so my family is more disappointed than I am. The main annoyance is having to explain to everyone I told about the change and deal with the sympathy. It's a relief not to be stuck in limbo of not knowing. Now I can move on and get ready for the coming semester here at home.
On that note, I have my class schedule, finally. Looks good, but the all the Japanese classes were filled so no language this semester, and I'm taking two American literature classes so I'll probably hate America by December.
And I'm pretty sure I have a job (thank you Melanie!). It's doing stuff in an office, which is just fine by me. I'm meeting my prospective boss on Wednesday and I guess as long as I don't completely screw that up then I'm good. She gave me a tentative schedule already that works very nicely with my classes. I'll have to get up early, but I like doing most of my work/classes in the morning rather than later.
I have pictures from the beach trip, but they're stuck on my camera because I can't find the chord to connect to my computer. (This is what cleaning my room results in- losing stuff I need.) I'll post them when I find it, maybe with some pics from my dad's birthday.
I'm playing around with the colors on my layout but I can't get it to look good. I've had this layout forever anyway. Probably time to find a new one.
