May. 3rd, 2006 08:04 pmThe end of the semester is so close I can taste it. And it tastes like cherry water ice.
One more day this week, then class on Monday but half my teachers cancelled, then 3 exams. I still have to study and write a paper, but I can do that later.
Today we played Jeopardy in English which was fun, and my team won so we got extra credit. The teacher told us all how many absences we have and she only had one for me even though I know I've missed 4. I'm not complaining though. And that art history paper that I started the day before it was due and finished at 2am...the teacher thought it was so good that she's publishing it in an art history handbook. Wow.
My mom was in a car crash on Monday (and I just read about Livia's so it's just a bad time to drive). She was driving on State Rd. with Julia, Lisa and Julia's friend and a cop car ran a red light and hit them. The cop didn't have the siren or lights on so he said the police insurace would pay for the repairs to our car. The car was towed, there was another driver who said we could call him if we needed a witness, and another cop drove everyone back to my house. Later my dad borrowed my grandparent's car and took eveyone in the crash to the hospital (mostly for my mom b/c she's still recovering from the ruptured spleen) but now Lisa and Julia are on pain meds because of some whiplash. Other than that everyone's fine.
Yesterday I had a job interview to be camp counciler. Catie and Melanie, I put you down as references. I would have put Maureen but I only had to cell phone number in my phone, not your house number. I had to fill out the application right before the interview and I don't have phone numbers memorized. I don't think it's references for work, just a "Have you ever seen her abuse children?" kind of thing.
Aaaaand, I think that's all for now.
