I had no idea the rally was happening until the night before. I googled it today and saw the pics of the thousands of people there but, well, I guess we got lucky in not encountering the bulk of them. Need to play attention to politics more, clearly.

It's in Fishtown. I did a little walking around and there's some neat cafes and restaurants, but I think the cooler stuff is actually in Northern Liberties.
