The only problem with giving a fake number is I'll probably see him again so he'll be able to confront me about it. And he doesn't seem the type to take the hint, he'll just ask why he can't have my real number.

I know I shouldn't waste energy on the assholes, but, God, it just scares me that there are so many of them. One of my biggest fears is being with someone like that and not realizing it until it's difficult to get away. And I feel sorry for any woman that does end up with them.
