Yesterday my dad found a turtle in the road. He went to move it out of the road, but it was bleeding. It had a largee crack in it's plaston (belly shell) which was bleeding and it was missing a toe. Well, if he just jeft it there it would have died, so it brought it home. Now there is a full grown, injured box turtle here. We cleaned the wound and put some antibiotic stuff on it and now it had a fancy band aid on it's belly. We have to keep it away from the baby turtle in case it has infections. We're going to keep the adult turtle for a few weeks and if it's okay we'll put it back in the wild. This turtle was pissed off when we were cleaning it. It hisses and bites and kicks. It's cool though. I hope it gets better (it was a really scary looking wound).
