There's a bird lady on my TV.
Mar. 12th, 2005 06:45 pmThere's a new activity in Drexel Hill for St. Patrick's day where you can pay to get a on big yellow bus and go bar hopping. The bus does a 'bar tour' of Drexel Hill, about 4 or 5 different bars. I think it's partly to avoid having people drive themselves to different bars while drunk. Well, one of the bars on the tour is right across the street from my house. Yeah, that right. About every half hour another busload of drunk people arrives across the street from me. And they all have some sort of St. Patrick's day stuff on, like shamrock antennas or funny hats. Irish people (and people pretending to be Irish) can be very noisy when given alcohol. The same thing'll probably happen next weekend too.
We're celebrating my cat's birthday today. He's 10 years old. The celebration includes giving the cat extra food and trying to put a funny hat on him.
Billy: Stop! Stop the fighting! Why do you have to hate each other? Can't you see you're just like peas and mashed potatoes? Some people don't like them to touch each other when they're on the same plate! But it's okay! It's okay if they touch! Because they both get chewed up by the mouth and go down the esophagus and are dissolved into the stomach and absorbed into the intestines and-hey, we won't go any farther than that. But the fact is that we're all just nutrients in the great digestive system called life!
